A tasty and nourishing pick me up for when your energy tank is feeling low.
Ingredients
1 cup medjool dates, pitted
1 cup raw cashew nuts
½ cup raw almonds
¼ cup cacao powder
Zest of ½ orange
2 Tbsp juice from the orange
The contents of 6-10 energy capsules (discard capsule casing) or 2-6 tsp Am Blend
100g 85% dark chocolate
Method
- Combine all ingredients except dark chocolate in a food processor and blitz until combined. Transfer ingredients to a lined loaf tin. Use the back of a spoon to pack the mixture tightly into the tin.
- Using a double boiler, melt the chocolate. Once melted, drizzle over the slice to cover the top, then transfer to the fridge to set.
- Cut into slices and enjoy! Store in an airtight container in the fridge.
