Mushroom Toast

Our Mother Made blends are super versatile and are great in savoury dishes. 

They add an extra umami flavour as well as adding all the benefits that come with Medicinal Mushrooms. Boost any breakfast with the deliciously flavoursome AM blend.


½ Onion

2 Cloves garlic

3 Portebello mushroom

3 White button mushrooms

1 Heaped teaspoon of AM or PM

Knob of butter

Tbsp oil

½ cup of cream

Salt and pepper to taste


Additional toppings

Chilli flakes

spring onion


  1. Heat a large pot over high heat then add Knob of butter
  2. Saute diced onions until soft.
  3. Add garlic and Mother Made powders (Am or Pm are both great).
  4. Stir in sliced mushrooms until well-browned all over.
  5. Add your cream and salt and pepper cook through
  6. Plate up on your favourite toast - We love the sourdough from our local spot Daily Bread
  7. Sprinkle with toppings - Delish!
